If you use Terraform to manage your dashboards, a common use case is to create a “baseline” dashboard in the Cloud Observability UI and then export it to Terraform to create and manage new dashboards. Creating a dashboard in the UI is easier and more intuitive than working in a Terraform configuration file. You can now export a dashboard to a Terraform file and then clone it and edit the file to create new dashboards, for example by changing the individual queries behind the charts.
