Once you’ve integrated with AWS CloudWatch, you have access to metrics from AWS Elastic Transcoder, which can convert Amazon S3 stored media files into other relevant formats.

To verify metrics are reporting, search for the metrics in the Metric details section of the Settings page.
The following table shows the Elastic Transcoder metrics ingested by Cloud Observability.

aws.elastictranscoder.jobs_errored | count | The number of errors due to bad inputs. |
aws.elastictranscoder.outputs_per_job | count | The number of outputs produced for a job. |
aws.elastictranscoder.standby_time | seconds | The number of seconds before Elastic Transcoder began a job. |
aws.elastictranscoder.errors | count | The number of errors due to bad operation parameters, like a request for a job status that omits the job ID. |
aws.elastictranscoder.throttles | count | The number of times Elastic Transcoder voluntarily throttled an operation. |
