Once you’ve integrated with AWS CloudWatch, you have access to all metrics for IoT Analytics, which simplifies the process of analyzing data from IoT devices.

To verify metrics are reporting, search for the metrics on the Metric details page in Settings.
The following table shows the IoT Analytics metrics ingested by Cloud Observability.

| aws.iotanalytics.action_execution | count | The number of actions executed. |
| aws.iotanalytics.action_execution_throttled | count | The number of actions that are throttled. |
| aws.iotanalytics.activity_execution_error | count | The number of errors encountered while carrying out the pipeline activity. |
| aws.iotanalytics.incoming_messages | count | The number of messages that arrive in the channel. |
| aws.iotanalytics.pipeline_concurrent_execution_count | count | The number of pipeline activities completed concurrently. |
