AWS IoT TwinMaker metrics

Once you’ve integrated with AWS CloudWatch, you have access to all metrics for AWS IoT TwinMaker, which you can make functional digital twins of physical and digital systems using as a building block.

To verify metrics are reporting, search for the metrics on the Metric details page in Settings.

The following table shows the IoT TwinMaker metrics ingested by Cloud Observability.

Metric Name	Unit	Description
aws.iottwinmaker.component_type_creation_failure	count	This metric reports whether the component type creation is successful.
aws.iottwinmaker.component_type_update_failure	count	This metric reports whether the component type update is successful.
aws.iottwinmaker.entity_creation_failure	count	This metric reports whether the entity creation is successful.
aws.iottwinmaker.entity_update_failure	count	This metric reports whether the entity update is successful.
aws.iottwinmaker.entity_deletion_failure	count	This metric reports whether the entity deletion is successful.
