AWS WorkMail metrics

Once you’ve integrated with AWS CloudWatch, you have access to all metrics for WorkMail, which is a secure business email and calendar service.

To verify metrics are reporting, search for the metrics in the Metric details section of the Settings page.

The following table shows the WorkMail metrics ingested by Cloud Observability.

Metric Name	Unit	Description
aws.workmail.organization_email_received	count	The number of emails received by the WorkMail organization. Does not consider number of recipients per email.
aws.workmail.mailbox_email_delivered	count	The number of emails delivered in your WorkMail organization. Each recipient is counted as a separate delivery.
aws.workmail.incoming_email_bounced	count	The number of incoming emails bounced due to full mailboxes. Each failed delivery to a recipient is counted.
aws.workmail.outgoing_email_bounced	count	The number of outgoing emails that could not be delivered. Each intended recipient is counted.
aws.workmail.outgoing_email_sent	count	The number of emails successfully sent from your organization. Each recipient is counted.
