You can attach custom data to webhook destinations on an alert. Custom data can be useful for making connections between Lightstep data and other systems, or including contextual information about a Stream.
You create conditions for thresholds that mark SLAs or metrics on a Stream that you want to be warned about. Once you create conditions, you can edit, snooze, and delete them.
You can create thresholds on Streams that when crossed, send alerts to everyone that needs to know about it. Thresholds can be set for an error percentile, latency, or operations per second, on any operation within your distributed system.
Lightstep has built-in capability to set PagerDuty and Slack channels as destinations. You can also use webhooks to send alerts to other third-party solutions.
